Take Heart is a new Seventh-day Adventist church plant in Huntley, Illinois. Led not by seminary graduates, but by people whose faith was forged in fire.
Our leaders have faced war zones, stared death in the face, and lived to tell about it. They don't have theoretical answers. They have lived their answers.
We exist for people who are hurting. People who've walked away from God, people who never had an experience with God, and people who are asking questions nobody seems willing to answer honestly.
God has always called people who are struggling to His cause. Join a humble community pursuing God's truth and promises. Gen. 32:28

We're not building a program. We're building a community with convictions.
Uncompromising Truth
We preach the whole Bible. Not a highlight reel. The uncomfortable parts. The parts that challenge you. The parts that change you. We don't soften what God says to make it more palatable.
Radical Honesty
Every service ends with open mic Q&A. Ask anything: theology, doubt, pain, ethics, the hard stuff. No question is off limits. We'd rather wrestle with truth than perform certainty we don't have.
Authentic Community
Not a social club. Not a networking event. A community where you can be known. Flaws, doubts, and all. We believe real transformation happens in honest relationships, not in polished performances.

Take Heart is led by people whose faith wasn't taught in a classroom. It was tested in war zones, steel warehouses, and the wreckage of near-death. That's not a weakness. It's the point.
Tim built a career navigating chaos and danger. As an Army Medic, he served in Operation Iraqi Freedom I and II. After returning from deployment, he was certified in Executive Protection and returned to Iraq as a security contractor for three more years. Since then he has protected royalty, diplomats, and some of the most recognizable people on earth. He now advises the C-suite of Fortune Companies on risk management, leadership, and developing culture and teams.
Kevin's faith has been tested and proven through supernatural encounters and escaping death twice. He started with grease under his fingernails as a mechanic, then as a maintenance man in a steel warehouse. Over 33 years, he climbed every rung of the ladder to Vice President and General Manager of a $60 million galvanizing business. He designs galvanizing plants and built a reputation for relentless passion and a commitment to helping others succeed.
